The renowned French architecture studio, ADPI, has been entrusted with designing the new French embassy in Bangkok. The team led by Nicolás Mourín has amazed us with this contemporary reinterpretation of traditional Thai homes.

The covering of this monolithic building, with volumetric forms in different three-dimensional planes, has been created with the compact mineral from PORCELANOSA Grupo. 2,600m2 of KRION® was needed for its installation, in which the latest technology in construction systems has been used, developed by Butech®, one of the 8 companies belonging to PORCELANOSA Group.

In the latest PORCELANOSA architecture and interior design awards, the ADPI studio was awarded a special mention for this project. Jean Charles Content and Mabel Mirando received the award in the celebration held at the Ritz Hotel in May.
